Elderly not Respected!

Conditions within Ekklesia reflects worldly Attitudes?

We are always being watched by the world, even when they hate us so much they want to see how we will react to certain situations!

Society reflects the attitude that we believers pertain to, if we ignore sin then the world will become more worse than it already is and we do what is right and good we twart evil intensions and people get treated in a better way?

God pointed out to Israeli society in times past that their failure to act on sin in the nations was bringing their own destruction on themselves!

In the New Testament Jesus promises all who follow Him will have a lighter burden and a blessed yoke, not as before and not as the world would punish us.

Deuteronomy 28:50, 2 Chronicles 36:17-18, Isaiah 47:6, Matthew 11:28-30.

King Charles III and Joe Biden!

Youth must not undermine Wisdom?

Yes when we are young we think we know everything and that is true to a point in that we know the age that we belong to and are living in, but what we do not know is how to handle certain situations since we lack experience!

When we look at world leaders and royal families, we see that they are older and should be wiser and as we who are younger we need to respect them and fear God?

Since we know that God knows everything then we will gain much wisdom from these little steps, that perhaps will be of great help to us as we in Ekklesia leadership learn how to encourage those below us on the age scale for the next generation!

Leviticus 19:14, 32, Proverbs 20:29, Lamentations 5:12.

Suffering as a believing Christian? Two.

Keep doing Good!

That is the mark of a true believer, honesty, truth and not being a gossip or meddler in other peoples business that has nothing to do with us?

Persecution and sufferings will come to us since our Lord Jesus had to go through the same, if we are serious about our belief, though it is hard it should not be a problem?

We have much to offer younger people in advice and guidance that it will get tougher and if it does not, then there is something seriously wrong in their walk that needs examination!

But is doing what is right and maintaining Integrity, strangers and the world will seek us out since we can be trusted?

Psalm 10:14, 31:5, Proverbs 11:30-31, Luke 23:46, Romans 2:9-10, 1 Timothy 5:13, 2 Timothy 1:12, 1 Peter 4:12-19.

Seventy years Ended!

The passing of British Queen Elizabeth-II Regina?

It was a great shock to many that this ninety-six year old faded so fast that she departed us on the 8th of September and with her went great wisdom and insight into the affairs of state and the world, if not her Christian experience?

Death will come to all of us, but it is what we make of our New lives and the legacy that we will be remembered for?

All believers have much to give to younger people, meaning everyone who is at least twenty years behind us, no matter what age we are beyond sixty or seventy years!

2 Chronicles 2:12, Job 9:4, Psalm 19:7, 49:10, Matthew 7:24, Romans 12:16, 1 Corinthians 1:26-27, Ephesians 5:15, 2 Timothy 3:15.

Suffering as a believing Christian? One.

‘Don’t be Surprised!

That first line of this verse written by the Apostle Peter is of great comfort to many of us who have gone through life and faced the pains, fire and darkness that pops up out of no where?

We can think on Job and how he was assaulted by Satan and then his friends, who thought they were right! Nothing much has changed over the thousands of years with the human mind in relation to thinking it knows better!

But we live in the New Covenant and to share in the suffering of Jesus, is a privilege and should not be a problem, but it is still a problem to many of us again and again?

1 Peter 4:12-19, Acts 5:41, Philippians 3:9-10, Jude 1:24.

On set Dementia?

Age not the Limit!

This is a terrible illness that is associated mostly with us oldies, but it is not limited and can be a factor at an much earlier age?

God understands us who suffer, but He wants us to share with younger people the reality of this disease that many people do suffer from forgetfulness and sometimes it can be more than it seems!

The causes may be from being hit on the head or falling and injuring oneself, but as we age we start to loose our memory from around the age of forty, we all go through it, ‘Where are the keys, did I lock the door, or leave that in the car and so on.

Sometimes forgetting can bring on good things when our minds come back, and it is not always a negative illness?

Please have patience with sufferers and show them God’s love, despite their actions and responses!

Deuteronomy 32:28, Psalm 111:10, Romans 2:4, 2 Corinthians 12:12, James 5:7.

Conceptual Idealism!

Causing or using Provocation?

Old age should teach us one thing and that is we must be wiser now than when we were younger, but this is not always the case!

World events at this time is being influenced by idealism, based on using provocation in the claims of supporting democracy in the case of Taiwan and the Ukraine, which are not democratic but Nazi-German based white nationalism?

As believers we are only to do what is right and not be deluded by bias based claims, that are not Christian in their ethic or really in their name either!

Deuteronomy 32:21-22, 1 Kings 16:33, Luke 11:53, Ephesians 6:4.

Gifts and being Comforted?

The Holy Ghost/Spirit!

As believers we all have received the Holy Spirit to empower us to serve, to understand the Holy scriptures and to share our faith of our choice and to give an account when we may be challenged to do so?

We can do very little without having the Comforter in our ever Now New Lives, the third person of the Holy trinity helps us in many ways, through troubled times, temptations, pain, suffering and attack and in prayer we may not be able even to be aware that he is there all the time with us!

John 16:13-15, Acts 2:1-4, Hebrews 2:1-4.

Grey Hairs!

Gained With old Age?

Some young people go grey at an early age and loose their hair, but that is a genetic condition?

Here we are dealing with wisdom that is gained from life experience and also our ability to have greater faith and know our limits too!

When we are young we are strong like wild animals of horses, we are invincible in the ability to do many things for the glory of God, seeing souls saved through our witness and activity to portray the message with music and drama if not other things?

But in old age that strength is mostly lost, so we have to know where we are and what we can and cannot do! But there is still much for us to do within the ecclesiastical family and we must try, sin Jesus has warned us that the night fast approaches, were we can do nothing more!

Proverbs16:31, 20:29, Romans 4:1, 2 Corinthians 12:1.

Forgetfulness!

Another Problem?

This condition is not limited to older folks, many forty year olds can get onset dementia or serious bouts of forgetting or loosing concentration so we should not be too quick to Judge!

But it is a problem as you get older forgetting time is a real problem, if not names of loved ones or just things that need doing?

Since the COVID-19 situation, many of us have taken a knock and it has been a slow progress to get back to something of a normal life again but we will hopefully if this winter is not as bad as the past two?

Job 8:13, Psalm 9:17, Proverbs 3:1, Luke 9:62, Philippians 3:13, Hebrews 6:1-2.
