We are not Forgotten?

Our purpose and Goals!

The world, the ekklesia our families may have laid us aside because of our age and frailty, but God has not since we still have much to give.

We may be infirm and limited, but we still have a voice to always share the good news of Jesus to the ever coming up younger generations and if we cannot speak, we still can pray and their is much to be covered for other believers world wide?

So don’t think you have been left behind or forgotten, because if God is with us we are more than just fine!

Isaiah 46:4, Psalm 71:18, Romans 8:9-11.

King Charles at 73!

Is he in touch with the younger Generation?

What has been identified is blatant racism in the Royal family and in the British Media that is not being addressed in the continued attacks on black woman who they do not want!

Another is that of Charles wife getting what she wanted to be a Roman Catholic Queen and reigning with him?

Is he in touch with modern society on his own levels yes, but to the man in the street probably not!

There are great advantages of being old and in a role to host the world for business success, but when we fail to connect with people of race and religion then we are not really taking things seriously but white washing in the hope that former slaves forget?

Romans 6:16, 20, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians 4:9, Titus 2:3, 3:3, 2 Peter 2:19, Revelation 18:13.

Who is running the United States?

When Joes has forgotten he was in Ireland two weeks Ago!

We are in a bad way if the world is going to be lead by old men with onset dementia and other mental health problems, one has to blame those who are under him in office as to what is their agenda?

When Mr. Biden said he was going for another term, Kamela Harris was shocked, but it seems she has had to pull into line by the Democrats?

So out for now goes the possibility of a black Asian woman getting into office, for a power hungry man living in a 1971 mindset!

Old age does bring wisdom, but that is to a point and when illness such as mentioned above, it is time to remove and replace with a more capable person.

Deuteronomy 4:29, 28:28, Ecclesiastes 7:7, 10:13, 2 Peter 2:16.

Preparing for Easter?

Being ready to Help!

Many fellowships have Easter in hand by now, but for us there is a great opportunity to be there at the door, giving out the hymn books to get talking more so to the new faces and there also to help?

Worries, troubles and fears with despair will bring many to get help and we must be ready to comfort, to point the way of faith in Jesus as well as meeting or passing on to others who can do more for them?

Our roll within fellowship is to also encourage those we know are having it hard, in some cases a pat on the back is enough to get their confidence going and knowing that they are loves and remembered by the Ekklesia!

Matthew 25:38, 43, Acts 18:27, Romans 14:1, 15:7, 16:2.

illness, the plight of old Age?

More Susceptible!

With old age comes the problems of sickness and illness and this is a fact of life that younger adults must recognise in pastoral role, in visiting, and after care?

But despite the many disappointments and set backs, one took solace in knowing of salvation and the victory that Jesus has one for us believers so that we need not worry!

Matthew 7:7-8, 1 Corinthians 15:50, 54, 57, Hebrews 9:14, 14, 26, 10:10, 1 John 5:4, Revelation 3:20.

Christmas! Part-Two.

Reflecting on a essential Truth.

Most of Ekklesia today no longer mention a important truth about Jesus in relation to Him being circumcised on the eight day, meaning that He was Jewish and had fulfilled the Abrahamic covenant!

Mostly because of anti-Semitism this is missed out as no longer important, but it is very much so, since without the fulness of the Jewish scriptures being completed in relation to the blood covenant we cannot be saved?

Since Jesus ascended into heaven the Jews have been blinded by God and not by themselves as wicked Christians imply out of their hatred or misunderstanding of the Bible here and in many other places too!

Luke 2:21, 2 Corinthians 3:13-16.

Christmas! Part-One.

Joseph Challenged?

In those days the man would have been much older than his young virgin wife and thus this year we begin with his predicament, finding his wife to be pregnant!

His human reaction was to divorce her on the quiet and thus that was his plan, until the Angel of the Lord intervened and told him amazing truths that put him in unique position and because of his faith he took her as his wife.

In todays society that kindness has ben replaced by abortion, abandonment and lack of commitment in the selfishness of the human heart rejecting everything, while many believers also are no better, talking and singing about love, but not showing much of it?

Matthew 1:18-24, Luke 2:22-38.

Where are you Rooted?

Going down and rising with Fruit!

It is an old question that does not change with God, many people think that fruit is only associated with New Life and the teachings of the New Testament, but they are wrong, the whole bible is about sharing the goodness of God and His love for us now through Jesus the Lord!

Activity is an important aspect of having faith and living in the ever new now, were we are rooted is important and if we are well supplied with resources we will keep going until we go home to be with our maker and master!

2 Kings 19:30, Psalm 92:14, Isaiah 37:31, Ezekiel 17:8, 23, Matthew 7:18, Mark 4:20.

Elderly not Respected!

Conditions within Ekklesia reflects worldly Attitudes?

We are always being watched by the world, even when they hate us so much they want to see how we will react to certain situations!

Society reflects the attitude that we believers pertain to, if we ignore sin then the world will become more worse than it already is and we do what is right and good we twart evil intensions and people get treated in a better way?

God pointed out to Israeli society in times past that their failure to act on sin in the nations was bringing their own destruction on themselves!

In the New Testament Jesus promises all who follow Him will have a lighter burden and a blessed yoke, not as before and not as the world would punish us.

Deuteronomy 28:50, 2 Chronicles 36:17-18, Isaiah 47:6, Matthew 11:28-30.

King Charles III and Joe Biden!

Youth must not undermine Wisdom?

Yes when we are young we think we know everything and that is true to a point in that we know the age that we belong to and are living in, but what we do not know is how to handle certain situations since we lack experience!

When we look at world leaders and royal families, we see that they are older and should be wiser and as we who are younger we need to respect them and fear God?

Since we know that God knows everything then we will gain much wisdom from these little steps, that perhaps will be of great help to us as we in Ekklesia leadership learn how to encourage those below us on the age scale for the next generation!

Leviticus 19:14, 32, Proverbs 20:29, Lamentations 5:12.
